THERE'S A PLACE AND A BASE FOR YOU!
We invite you to be a part of what God is doing through Morning Star Studio City. Most people will spend their lives being spectators in the crowd. It is our desire to help you grow in a vibrant and life giving relationship with Jesus Christ and with others to step out of the crowd and into the very purpose for which God has created you. The 101, 201, 301 and 401 classes are offered one Saturday each quarter on what we call "GAME DAY"
THE GAME PLAN:
ENGAGE
WELCOME RECEPTION- this is an informal event for all our guests and newer members to get to know the pastors and leaders as well as getting to know each other a little better. MEMBERSHIP 101- If you would like to become a member of Morning Star Studio City or simple want to lear more about Chrisitanity and the value of the local church, this class is for you. We will discuss salvation, spiritual family, baptism and other vital subjects.
ESTABLISH
SMALL GROUP- Weekly small groups are a vital part of our church life. A more intimate setting is ideal for building relationships, personal ministry, and strengthening your walk with God. We have small groups to meet a wide variety of interests and needs.
MATURITY 201- This class is to help members establish strong Bilical foundations and maturing in their faith. Topics include God's word, discipleship, prayer,faith and more. VICTORY WEEKEND- We all carry "baggage" that affects our lives and hinders our walk with God and often with other people. This is a 2-day getaway with teaching and life-changing ministry designed to help you walk in a new reality of liberty and joy in Christ.
EQUIP
MINISTRY 301- The Christian life is not a self-centered one. This class is designed to equip you to minister more effectively to others and discover how God has uniquely designed you to serve in ministry and mentor others.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT- Jesus defined leadership in term of service to others (Luke 22:26). Our hope is that as you grow in your faith and receive ministry, you will continually look for opportunities to minister to others and demonstrate God's love in practical ways.
EMPOWER
MISSION 401- Welcome to home plate!. This class will help you discover you unique design -your gifts, skills, and personality- and understand how God has fashioned you for His purpose.
From here, move on to ENLI (Every Nation Leadership Insitute) and a lifetime of continuous growth in Christ!
